Ronald Shon is President of the Shon Group of Companies. The Shon Group of Companies is a family office with investments in real estate, technology, venture capital, and natural resources. Ron is also a Founding Partner and Co-Chairman of REDDS Capital, a venture capital group that empowers disruptive start-ups that scale worldwide and have billion dollars plus potential through team building, global business development, financing, and mentoring. He has served on a number of community and civic organizations. Ron graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Economics in 1975 and received an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance in 1977.

Marc D. Kirshbaum is a business leader and strategic advisor who is passionate about delivering sustainable and measurable results for businesses and their employees, customers, and shareholders. Jeff Shon serves as COO and General Partner of REDDS Capital, an early stage venture capital fund focused on frontier technologies. He focuses on leading due diligence and fund operations, while serving as a key resource for portfolio company management teams. Jeff obtained his JD from the University of British Columbia, and possesses extensive corporate finance and public markets experience. In addition to his work in venture capital, Jeff also advises companies across sectors ranging from video games to emerging legaltech.

George Zhao is a veteran China strategist with over twenty years of experience building multiple bridges between the United States and China, facilitating several hundred millions of dollars in cross-border transactions and investments into industries including (but not limited to): artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain technologies, medical devices, life sciences, new media, entertainment, education, manufacturing, and real estate.

Dominic Holt is a CTO with experience leading everything from startups to Fortune 500 companies. He also serves as the CEO for harpoon Corp. Dominic is well versed in helping companies prepare for scale, growth and investment. He regularly executes technical diligence, technology selection, software architecture and mentoring as a Fractional CTO at Valerian Technology and works with many Companies, PE, and VC Firms on a global scale. Dominic has personally architected and led development efforts on numerous enterprise systems, including production systems in the US Navy, Air Force, and Intelligence Community. Previously, he worked for Lockheed Martin where he created and became the division head of Lockheed’s next generation skunkworks organization, which generated $1B+ in revenue annually. Dominic has also founded several startups and has been internationally recognized with an award for video game development.

Beat Meier is Chairman & CEO of Dynamic Tree Asset Management AG, an independent  investment management firm, based in Switzerland, catering to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.  Beat has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry.  Before co-founding Dynamic Tree Asset Management AG, he was responsible for managing and growing the wealth management business of UBS in the Prairies Region of Western Canada.  Prior to that, he was a Senior Private Wealth Advisor and a member of the UBS Key Client Group in Canada, which serves Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families (>$50 Million in investable assets).  Beat is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute.  He is also a graduate of the Swiss Certified Banking Specialist program and has his designation as a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM).

Robert Koepp serves as Director of the Asia-Pacific Geoeconomics and Business Initiative and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Strategy at the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University. Prior to these academic roles, he led the Corporate Network in Hong Kong for The Economist Group, a position in which he served as both a senior editor and chief economist. Rob has authored two full-length books, Betting on China: Chinese Stocks, American Stock Markets, and the Wagers on a New Dynamic in Global Capitalism and Clusters of Creativity: Enduring Lessons on Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Silicon Valley and Europe’s Silicon Fen. His prior work in global media also includes both entertainment as well as infotainment. Immediately prior to its acquisition by Disney, Rob was the Chief Representative in Asia for Marvel and was the English editor and translator of a best-selling Japanese manga biography on George Soros.

Rob has written a wide range of in-depth reports covering such topics as geopolitical shifts from Covid-19, disruptive technologies, digital economics, Big Data, China’s sports industry, China’s Belt and Road Initiative, Asian business trends, and comparative government technology industrial policies.
